The XBR40H is a robust, flexible, and carrier-grade IP/MPLS router, purpose-built for high-performance service provider networks. It can be deployed in metro and core environments to deliver scalable, next-generation transport services with maximum efficiency.

With 100GE service ports, the XBR40H combines carrier-class reliability and performance. It supports fault and performance monitoring, nonstop routing across both control and data planes, and comprehensive high-availability capabilities.

Designed for large-scale traffic demands, the XBR40H provides 8GB deep buffering, 2,000 Mpps packet throughput, and 4 Tbps switching capacity. In addition, its integrated knowledge-based processor (TCAM) enables up to 16 parallel lookups, delivering billions of decisions per second ensuring fast, intelligent, and reliable forwarding for mission-critical service provider applications.
